Buying a new baby stroller is a simple affair right? You just go down to the local stroller mart and grab the first and cheapest thing that suits your fancy. Isn't that the right way to pickup a new stroller? After all, it's just a stroller, right?

You Will Have It Longer Than You Think
A stroller purchase is going to be with you for a lot longer that you might think. At least it should be. If you have only one child, it's a minimum of a three year commitment that your stroller will have to service. If you have only two children 2 years apart that means you will have the stroller most likely 5 to 6 years. If you consider the amount of miles that you are likely to put on your stroller and the amount of time you are to spend pushing it, it might make you start to think about doing a little research.

Online on the internet is the best place to research a stroller purchase. Large websites like amazon often have a comments section or a reviews section that allow people to voice their opinions about particular strollers. This is a great resource. Additionally other sites such as yahoo and friends also have an answers section. Again, this is a great resource to find opinions and factoids on various strollers. You may not want to count on this sites for much more than opinions, but you can get a generally feeling for how well or how poorly on particular item may perform.
Blogs
Also be sure to check out some online blogs. Parents and stroller owners often publish reviews and experiences about their purchases online. A quick google search reveal some excellent resources in this respect. Just bear in mind you are largely reading opinions. Got to amazon or the manufacturers site for authoritative specifications.

The days of having to deal with lineups and crabby sales assistants and poor selection are past us. You can buy virtually anything online and have it shipped to your door. Great customer service and easy return policies keep online business intact.
You might as well make your life as easy possible. Do some research and buy your stroller online. You will be glad you did.
